According to multiple reports on Friday, Mazda is recalling almost 270,000 vehicles that have the Takata airbags, which have the potential to explode.

The potentially hazardous and at times deadly defect is found in the passenger-side airbags on some Mazda6 2003-2008, Mazdaspeed6 2006-2007 and MPV 2004 nationwide, according to the Associated Press.
