EDISON – Local police are searching for a suspect who robbed a McDonald’s at gunpoint on the morning of July 10.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Edison Police Department at 732-248-7400.

According to multiple reports, around 6 a.m. a man wearing a grey hoodie and a black mask around the mouth entered the Route 27 McDonald’s in the Menlo Park section of the municipality.

The suspect is described as a male about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and spoke with a “Hispanic accent,” according to reports.

Police say that the disguised man showed his gun in his waistband to the cashier and demanded she open the register.

Once she complied, the gunman grabbed the cash and left the fast-food chain.
