An FBI special agent was charged with illegally photographing a 22-year-old woman while she was in a dressing room, said the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s office last week.

Piscataway resident Danuel S. Brown, 30, was arrested on July 19 and  charged with one count of invasion of privacy in the fourth degree for using his cellphone to take photographs of the 22-year-old woman while she was in a dressing room at a clothing store in Edison Township.

Police opened their investigation into Brown after the victim called 911 to inform them what she alleged was happening while she was changing. According to the Prosecutor’s Office she confronted Brown, who allegedly said he was a law enforcement officer.

According to the initial investigation, police allege that Brown placed his cellphone “underneath the dressing room door, and took multiple photographs” of the 22-year-old.

Brown is was being held at the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center until a court appearance in New Brunswick.
