MONROE – County and local authorities say a Monroe group home caregiver improperly touched a female resident, ultimately resulting in his arrest.
Ganesh Gudar, 46, of Monroe was arrested on Aug. 24 and charged with one count of criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree, according to a news release from Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey and Monroe Police Department Chief Michael Lloyd on Aug. 27.
The alleged suspect was charged after an investigation by Monroe Sgt. Keith Saloom and county detective Allie Bitterman. According to available details from local authorities, Gudar allegedly touched a 62-year-old female resident who is at the unnamed group home.
Gudar is scheduled to appear in New Brunswick Court on Oct. 9.
